not less than three written or printed notices in con-

spicuous public places in said village, of the time
|
 
|
and place at which said election shall be held ; and
|
 
|
the said judges of election, before opening the polls,
|
 
|
shall make oath or affirmation before some justice of
|
 
|
the peace for Prince George's county, that they will
|
 
|
fairly and impartially act as judges of said election;
|
 
|
and the said judges shall keep the polls open from
nine o'clock A. M. until six o'clock P. M., and shall
|
 
|
record the names of the voters, and after the closing
|
 
|
of the polls shall count the ballots and announce the
|
 
|
result, and make and sign a certificate thereof to
|
 
|
be filed among the records of said corporation.
|
 
|
SEC. 30. If any vacancy shall occur by the death,
|
 
|
resignation, removal or refusal to act of any commis-
|
 
|
sioner of said village, or if any person ejected as
|
 
|
commissioner of said village shall be disqualified
|
 
|
from any cause, the remaining commissioners, or a

majority of them, shall elect a proper person to fill
|
 
|
such vacancy; and all cases of contested election of
|
 
|
commissioners under this act, shall be decided by the
|
 
|
Judges of the Circuit Court for Prince George's
|
 
|
county ; and pending any contest, and until the said
|
 
|
court shall decide who is legally elected, the commis-
|
 
|
sioners holding the office by virtue of a previous
|
 
|
election, shall continue to hold the office until the
|
 
|
contested election is decided, and until his or their
|
 
|
successors shall be legally elected and qualified.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
