LAWS OF MARYLAND.

 

Commissioners," of article two of the Code of Pub-

 

lic Local Laws, title " Anne Arundel county," be and

 

the same is hereby repealed, and the following en-

 

acted in lieu thereof:

 

COUNTY COMMISSIONERS.

 

SEC. 79. There shall be three County Commission-

of County Commissioners, in the City of Annapolis,

 

the first Tuesday in each month, and as much oftener

 

as the public interest may require, and shall continue
in session at least two days during each session of

 

the circuit court, and one week at their meeting in

 

January, for the purpose of making transfers.

Compensation.

SEC. 80. The said commissioners shall receive four

 

dollars per day each for every day they shall neces-

 

sarily attend to the duties of their office; provided

 

that no commissioner shall receive a larger sum than

 

three hundred dollars a year ; and it shall not be law-

 

ful for them to take or receive any gift, consideration,

 

perquisite, mileage or compensation, other than that

 

provided for by this section, in consideration of their

 

services as county commissioners, or because of their

 

action as such.

ters upon the duties of his office, execute a bond to
