having appeared and delivered a communication from His Ex-
celancy Governor Whyte.

On motion by Mr. Denson,
The Senate proceeded to Executive session.
Having resumed Legislative business.
Mr. Billingsley, called up

The Senate Mil entitled "An Act to appropriate a sum of
money to complete and ornament the Cemetery provided for
the interment of the remains of the confederate dead at Point
Lookout."

Which was read the second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.

Senate Joint Resolutions directing the Comptroller to credit
to certain Insurance Companies, amounts therein named,

Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and nays as
follows:
