corporate, by the name of the " Commissioners of

 

Sharptown," and by that name may have perpetual

 

succession, sue and be sued, and have and use a

 

common seal.

 

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the limits of said

 

town shall begin at low water mark, on the south

ty and one-half degrees, east to the north corner of

 

Jonathan J. Robinson's lot ; and running the above-

 

named course, two hundred and thirty-three perches,

 

or until it comes straight with the north-west end of

grees, west one hundred and eighty-nine perches to

 

a road; thence north twenty and one-half degrees,

 

west one hundred and sixty-two perches, with the

 

road to low water mark ; thence up the Nanticoke

 

river to the beginning ; the commissioners hereafter

its, as they may deem advisable, and cause the same

 

to be surveyed and the boundaries thereof to be es-

 

tablished, and the record thereof to be filed amongst

 

the records of the corporation.

 

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the male citizens

 

of said town of the age of twenty-one years and up-
wards, having resided therein for the space of six

year thereafter, be authorized to elect five commis-

 

sioners for said town, who shall have resided within

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the justices of the

 

peace in the Sharptown election district are hereby

empowered to act as judges of the first election for

 

said commissioners, who shall keep the polls open

 

from two o'clock P .M. until five o'clock P. M., and

 

shall conduct the said election in the same manner as

 

an election for delegates to the General Assembly,

 

(except that registration shall not be deemed a ne-

 

cessary qualification for voters), and as far as may be

 

consistent with the provisions of this act ; and the

 

said judges shall make return under their hands and

 

seals of the persons elected, to the Clerk of the Cir-

 

cuit Court for Wicomico county.
