Kill or destroy

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That it shall notbe law-

ing against the provisions of this act, and being

 

convicted thereof before any justice of the peace in

more witnesses, shall forfeit the fines named in this

 

act, one-half to the use of the school fund of the

 

county, and the other half to the use of the informer ;

 

and if the offender, after being convicted of the

 

crime, shall refuse to pay the fine imposed by this

 

act, he or they shall be committed to the jail of the

 

county for every such offence for the space of ten,

 

days ; provided, however, that such conviction shall

 

be made within sixty days after committing the

 

offence.
