standing to the credit of the oyster fund.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

 

effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 452.

 

AN ACT to enlarge the powers of the Trustees of

 

Huntington Chapel, in Baltimore county, in re-

 

lation to the holding of property. The said Trus-

 

tees of Huntington Chapel, having been incorpo-

 

rated for religious purposes, under an act of the

 

General Assembly of the State of Maryland, passed

 

at its December session, eighteen hundred and

 

forty-six, chapter three hundred and twenty-three,

 

entitled " an act to authorize incorporations .in

 

certain cases."

 

WHEREAS, The Trustees of Huntington Chapel,

Preamble

in Baltimore County, were duly incorporated under

 

and by virtue of an act of the General Assembly of

 

the State of Maryland, passed at its December ses-

 

sion, eighteen hundred and forty-six, chapter three

 

hundred and twenty-three, entitled " an act to au-

 

thorize incorporations in certain cases," and

Preamble.

WHEREAS, By said act the property which said
corporation, the Trustees of Huntington Chapel,

 

in Baltimore county, is allowed to hold, is limited to

 

the sum of ten thousand dollars, and

WHEREAS, The said sum is not sufficient to carry

 

out and perform the objects and designs of said cor-

 

poration, therefore —

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Maryland, That the Trustees of Huntington Chapel,
