deliver to the County Commissioners of Baltimore

county, all books and papers in their possession re-
|
 
|
lating to the affairs of the said town, and a full list
|
 
|
and statement of all taxes that have been levied and
|
 
|
collected, and all other monies received by them
|
 
|
from any source whatever, from the time of its first
|
 
|
organization of the said town, under its charter to-
|
 
|
the date of the repeal thereof, and all money and
|
 
|
property of every kind and description in their pos-
session ; and the said County Commissioners shall
|

collected by the said Town Commissioners, in thesame

manner as the taxes are now collected in Baltimore
|

county, and they shall pay all outstanding indebted-

ness of the said corporation, if in their judgment the
claims presented shall be just; and the said County

Commissioners are further empowered and directed
|
 
|
to expend the balance of the monies, if any remains
|
 
|
after paying the indebtedness of said town, in re-
|
 
|
pairing the avenues now opened and used in said
|
 
|
town.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
|
force.

effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to pay to Luther A. Martin, late Sheriff
|
 
|
for Charles county, the sum of eighty-two dollars
|
 
|
and thirty cents, erroneously paid into the Treas-
|
 
|
ury.

WHEREAS, it appears by reference to the books of
|
 
|
the Comptroller, that the sum of eighty-two dollars
|
 
|
and thirty cents, was overpaid by Luther A. Martin
|

in the settlement of his accounts with the Comp-
|
 
|
troller, therefore —
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
 
|
Maryland, That the Treasurer be and is hereby au-
