chapter nineteen.

 

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all such records and

 

other unfinished work as aforesaid, when completed

CHAPTER 383.

 

AN ACT to prevent non-residents from catching or

 

taking fish in the waters of Monie Bay, Monie

 

Creek and its tributaries, in Somerset county.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

 

Maryland, That from and after the passage of this

Unlawful

act it shall be unlawful for any person or persons,

 

except resident citizens of Somerset county, to fix,

 

set, or stake out any sort of gill-net, either stationary

 

or floating, or any device whatsoever for the catching

 

or taking of herring, shad, or other kind of fish, in

 

the waters of Monie Bay, Monie Creek or its tribu-

 

taries, in Somerset county.

 

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That any person or per-

 

sons violating the provisions of the preceding section

 

shall be arrested, and the boats, seines and material
