SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That when the records
prior to the year seventeen hundred and seventy-
seven shall have been restored, as hereby authorized,
and the index for the same time shall have been pre-
pared and found to be correct, the said judges shall
certify to the Comptroller of the State, the cost of	Pay therefor.

the Treasurer for the payment therefor, payable to
the persons entitled by such certificate to receive the
same, at the rate now allowed by law for such ser-

wills to present an itemized account under oath for
said services, stating fully and at large the several
services performed.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the expense of
restoration and of making an index of the record	Expense of
