LAWS OF MARYLAND.

 

Assembly of eighteen hundred and sixty-seven,

 

chapter four hundred and ten, seven hundred dollars,

 

or so much thereof as may be necessary.

 

INSPECTIONS.

 

For the salaries of the Supervisor of the State

Salaries of

Tobacco Warehouse, and tive Inspectors of Tobacco

Inspectors

iu Baltimore city, two thousand tive hundred dollars

 

each, fifteen thousand dollars; for two Inspectors of

 

Steam Boilers, fifteen hundred dollars each, three

 

thousand dollars; for insurance on State Tobacco

 

Warehouses, one thousand dollars, or so much thereof

 

as in the discretion of the Comptroller may be neces-

 

sary; for the payment of the annual ground rent on

 

the tobacco warehouse lots in Baltimore, four hun-

 

dred and forty-eight dollars and eleven cents.

 

MILITIA.

 

For the salaries of the Adjutant General of Militia

Salaries of

two thousand dollars; to the armorer at Easton, three

hundred dollars; provided, the said two sums of

 

money be paid out of the appropriation to be made

 

by this General Assembly ; for the support of the

 

militia twenty-five thousand dollars, or so much

 

thereof as may be necessary, to be expended under

 

the supervision of the Governor, in accordance with

 

the provisions of the act of eighteen hundred and

 

seventy; for the payment of pensions granted by acts

 

and resolutions of the General Assembly, sixty

 

thousand dollars or so much thereof as may be ne-

 

cessary.

 

CONTINGENT FUND.

 

To the Executive for the contingent fund provided

 

in the Constitution to be placed at his disposal, seven

thousand five hundred dollars ; for the contingent

 

fund of the Treasury Department, fifteen hundred

 

dollars ; for printing blank licenses, protests, circu-

 

lars, warrants, and for books, furniture and expenses

 

of Comptroller's office, two thousand dollars ; for the

 

contingent fund of the library, including the ex-

 

pense, postage, porterage and freight, stationery for
the use of the office, menial service, advertising and

 

printing, five hundred dollars ; for the augmentation

 

of the library, two thousand five hundred dollars, or
