LAWS OF MARYLAND.

 

dred and ninety-five of an act passed at the January

 

session of the General Assembly, eighteen hundred

 

and sixty-eight, be and the same is hereby repealed,

 

and re-enacted so as to read as follows :

 

SEC. 18. And be it enacted, That if said road shall

Null and void

not be commenced within the period of three years

 

from the passage of this act, and be not finished

 

within fifteen years thereafter, this act shall be null

 

and void.

In force

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

 

effect from the date of its passage.

 

Approved, April 11th, 1874.

 

CHAPTER 281.

 

AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners

 

of Harford county, to endorse the bonds of a

 

railroad passing through or near the centre of

 

said county, from the Susquehanna River to the

 

Gunpowder, to the amount of two hundred thous-

 

and dollars ; and to endorse the bonds of a rail-

 

road running from a point on the State line near

 

Delta, to a point at or near Belair; for fifty thous-

 

and dollars.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Endorse the
bonds

Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Har-

 

ford county, be and they are hereby authorized to

 

endorse the bonds of a railroad passing through, or

 

near the centre of said county, from the Susquehanna

 

River to, or near to the Gunpowder, to the amount

 

of two hundred thousand dollars, upon the condition

 

that said endorsement shall first be secured to the

 

satisfaction of said County Commissioners, by first

 

mortgage on said road.

Endorse the

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said County

bond"
