CHAPTER 248.
AN ACT to repeal, amend, and re-enact section
thirty-seven of article twelve, Code of Public Local
Laws, title "Harford County," sub-title "Elec-
tions."
SECTION 1. Se it enacted by the General Assembly of	Repealed and
Maryland, That section thirty-seven of article twelve,	re-enacted
of the Code of Public Local Laws, title " Harford
County," sub-title " Elections," be and the same is
hereby repealed, amended, and re-enacted with a
sub-section, to read as follows:
37. The Judges and Clerks of Elections in Har-	Allowuucc
ford county shall each be allowed four dollars a day
for each day they act as such.
SUB-SECTION 1. The Collectors of Taxes of the dif-
ferent election districts in Harford county shall pay to the judges and clerks immediately after the holding	Pay
of any election, such sum of money as they shall
severally be entitled to receive for their services, and
a certificate signed by the clerk to the Board of
County Commissioners, expressing the sum due to
said judges or clerks, shall be sufficient authority to
the collector to pay the amount therein specified.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.	In force
