CHAPTER 187.

AN ACT to regulate the number of justices of the

peace and constables for Garrett county.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
 
|
Maryland, That there shall be the following number
|

stable: for election district number nine, one justice

of the peace and one constable ; and that the Gov-
|
 
|
ernor be, and he is hereby authorized and em-
|
 
|
powered to appoint and commission such justices of
|
 
|
the peace.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

AN ACT supplementary to the act of eighteen hun-

dred and sixty-live, chapter one hundred and fifty-

one, entitled, "an act to incorporate the Town of

Town Commissioners of Newtown, to build a

lockup within the limits of said town.
