and property so valued, as fully as if the same had
been conveyed by the owner or owners thereof, in
fee simple.
SEC. 9. And be it further enacted, That the said County Commisssoners are hereby authorized and	Authorized to remove jail
empowered to tear down and remove the present
jail of said county, and provide temporarily, at the
expense of the said county, such accommodations for
the Sheriff of said county and the prisoners committed
to his custody, as they may deem proper and expe-
dient, until the new jail is completed and ready for
use.
SEC. 10. And be it further enacted, That this act shall	In force
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 161.
AN ACT to amend an act, entitled an act to incor-
porate the Bachman Valley Rail Road Company,
passed at January session, eighteen hundred and
seventy, authorizing and empowering the Presi-
dent and Directors of said company or a majority
of them to issue the bonds of the said company to
an amount not exceeding fifty thousand dollars.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the President and Directors of the	Authorized to issue bonds
Bachman Valley Rail Road Company, or a majority
of them, be and they are hereby authorized and em-
powered to issue the bonds of the said company, to an amount not exceeding the sum of fifty thousand
dollars, in denominations of one hundred, five hun-
dred and one thousand dollars each, payable on the
first day of January A. D. nineteen hundred, bear-
ing an interest of six per centum per annum, payable
semi-annually, on presentation of interest coupons,	Interest.
