SEC. 9. And be it further enacted, That the said
County Commisssoners are hereby authorized and

CHAPTER 161.

 

AN ACT to amend an act, entitled an act to incor-

 

porate the Bachman Valley Rail Road Company,

 

passed at January session, eighteen hundred and

 

seventy, authorizing and empowering the Presi-

 

dent and Directors of said company or a majority

 

of them to issue the bonds of the said company to

 

an amount not exceeding fifty thousand dollars.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

 

Maryland, That the President and Directors of the

powered to issue the bonds of the said company, to
an amount not exceeding the sum of fifty thousand

ing an interest of six per centum per annum, payable

 

semi-annually, on presentation of interest coupons,
