CHAPTER 159.
AN ACT to approve an act passed January session,
eighte'en hundred and seventy-two, chapter two
hundred and forty-two, entitled an act to authorize
the County Commissioners of Calvert county, to
subscribe to the capital stock of the Baltimore and
Drum Point Railroad Company, as provided by
section fifty-four of article third of the Constitution.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the act passed January session,	Confirmed and
eighteen hundred and seventy-two, chapter two	approved
hundred and forty-two, entitled an act to authorize
the County Commissioners of Calvert county, to sub-
scribe to the capital stock of the Baltimore and Drum
Point Railroad Company, and which authorizes a
subscription in the name of and for the said county,
to the amount of one hundred thousand dollars, to
the capital stock of the said company, upon certain
terms and conditions therein specified, be, and the
same is hereby ratified, confirmed and approved.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take	In force
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 160.
AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners
of Frederick county, to build a new jail and a
work-house for Frederick county, to borrow mo-
ney on the credit of the county for that purpose, to
issue bonds for the payment of the same, to levy
and collect taxes for the payment of such bonds,
and the interest on the same.
