Surveyor's
|
SEC. 201. Said surveyor shall be entitled to an
|
office.
|
office in one of the public buildings of said county,
|
 
|
to be furnished by the County Commissioners there-
|
 
|
of, and to consist of two rooms, in one of which shall
|
 
|
be kept the public records of said county, open at all
|
 
|
reasonable hours to public inspection, and if said
|
 
|
County Commissioners shall so prefer, they may
|
 
|
instead of furnishing such office to said surveyor, levy
|
 
|
and pay to him a sum of not less than one hundred nor
|
 
|
more than one hundred and twenty-five dollars per
|

annum, for office rent; provided that thesaid surveyor
shall always keep all public records in his possession
open to public inspection in said office, at all reason-
|
 
|
able hours, and provided further, that said surveyor's
|
 
|
office shall always be kept in the City of Cumber-
|
 
|
land.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this act shall
|
 
|
take effect from the date ot'its passage.

CHAPTER 125.
|
 
|
AN ACT for the better regulation of public roads
|
 
|
in Wicomico county.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|

Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Wi-
comico county be, and they are hereby, authorized
|
 
|
and empowered to subdivide each or any of the
|
 
|
election districts of the county, and to appoint a
|
 
|
supervisor for each of the said road districts.
|
 
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all able bodied
|

within the limits of an incorporated town, shall be

compelled to work not less than two days in every
|

year on the public roads in the road district in which

public roads shall need repairs, shall summon all
