furnished and labor performed in repairing Commit-

 

tee rooms and hall of State-House, by order of Secre-

 

tary of Senate and Chief Clerk of the House, twenty

 

dollars ; to J. W. Kalmey for painting done in Senate

 

cliamber and House of Delegates, by order of Secre-

 

tary of Senate and Chief Clerk of the House, eighteen

 

dollars ; to Samuel Stewart for materials furnished

 

and work done in Senate chamber and House of

 

Delegates, by order of Secretary of Senate and Chief

 

Clerk of the House, one hundred and fifty-seven dol-

 

lars and thirty cents; to Taylor and Bernard for

 

stove and other materials furnished for Speaker's

 

room, by order of the Chief Clerk, thirty dollars.

SEC 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

 

effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 120.

 

AN ACT to appropriate the sum of money to pay

 

David Gregg, late collector of State Taxes in the

 

eight district of Carroll county, the amount over-

 

paid by him into the Treasury.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Appropriation
to David Grogg

Maryland, That the Comptroller of this State, be
and he is hereby authorized and directed to issue

 

his warrant upon the Treasurer of this State, to pay

 

to David Grogg of Carroll county, the sum of thirty-

 

one dollars and thirty-six cents, being the amount

 

over-paid by said David Gregg into the Treasury,

 

as collector of State taxes for the eight district of

 

Carroll county, as certified to by the Comptroller of

 

this State.

In force.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

 

effect from the date of its passage.

 

Approved this 26th day of March, 1874.
