LAWS OP MARYLAND.

 

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That any person,

Misdemeanor

in whose possession, any dead grouse may be found,

 

for the time for which this act extends, shall be also

 

deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and be subject to

 

the penalties provided for in the second section of

 

this act.

 

Approved, this 25th day of March, 1874.

 

CHAPTER 116.

 

AN ACT to repeal section twenty-five of article

 

thirteen of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled

 

" Howard county," sub-title "justices of the peace

 

and constables," and to re-enact the same with

 

amendments so as to read as follows :

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Repealing and

Maryland, That section twenty-five of article thirteen

re- enacting

of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Howard

 

county," sub-title "justices of the peace and consta-

 

bles," be, and the same is hereby repealed, amended

 

and re-enacted so as to read as follows :

 

SEC. 25. There shall be the following number of

 

justices of the peace and constables for Howard

Justices of the

county, to wit : for election district number one, three

peace and con-
stables

justices of the peace and two constables; for election

 

district number two, three justices of the peace and

 

two constables; for election district number three,

 

four justices of the peace, and two constables; for

 

election district number five, three justices of the

 

peace and two constables; for election district number

 

six, three justices of the peace and two constables.

 

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

effect from the date of its approval by the Governor.
