SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the commissioners

road, and shall cause a true and exact plat thereof as

marked, bounded, and located by them, to be made
|

out by the surveyor, with a table of courses and
|
 
|
distances, and shall return the same with a copy of
|
 
|
the proceedings to said court, certified under their
|
 
|
hands or the hands of any two of them, which return

shall be tiled in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit

|
Court for said county, and the Circuit Court for said
|
 
|
county or any judge thereof, may finally ratify and
|
 
|
confirm said proceedings upon the expiration of one
|
 
|
month from the time of said report and survey being
|
 
|
filed as aforesaid, unless objections thereto are filed
|
 
|
by some person interested, within said period of one
|

hear and determine said objections, and when the

proceedings of said commissioners or a majority of
|
 
|
them, together with the plat of the surveyor; and the
|

final order of ratification and confirmation thereof,

shall be recorded at the expense of said company,
|
 
|
and said return and plat shall thereafter be taken
|
 
|
and deemed to be the true original location of the
|
 
|
said Turnpike road, anything in any law to the con-
|
 
|
trary thereof notwithstanding.

|
SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That each commissioner
|

appointed under this act, shall receive three dollars
|
 
|
for each day he shall attend in the execution of the
|
 
|
duties required by this act, to be paid by the Presi-
|
 
|
dent and Directors of said company ; provided, that
|
 
|
nothing herein contained shall be so construed as to
|
 
|
effect the right, title or claim of any person who may
|
 
|
have built or may own any house, or part of any house
|
 
|
or houses within the limits of said road, so long as
|
 
|
said buildings shall be kept in habitable repair.
