the third, on the second Monday of April, the fourth,

on second Monday of June, the fifth, on the second

Monday of August, and the sixth, on the second Mon-

day of October; and to which said equity or chancery

terms of said Circuit Court, all equity process shall

be made returnable respectively, and the said Circuit

Court as a court of equity, shall be considered as

always open for the transaction of business therein.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this act shall

CHAPTER 83.

AN ACT to repeal sections fifty-four, fifty-five, fifty-

six and fifty- seven of article twenty-one, of the

Code of Public Local Laws relating to Washington

county, and to re-enact said sections with amend-

ments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Maryland, That sections fifty-four, fifty-five, fifty-six

and fifty-seven of article twenty-one, of the Code of

Public Local Laws, relating to Washington county,

eight, chapter five, be and the same are hereby re-

pealed and re-enacted with amendments to read as

follows:

SEC. 54. That the next term of the Circuit Court

for Washington county, to be held after the July

term of the present year, shall commence on the

third Monday of November next, instead of the

second Monday of that month as heretofore, and that
