make such new by-laws and regulations as the

holders of a majority of the whole number of shares

of the stock shall assent to, which shall be binding

AN ACT to enlarge and define the powers of the
|
 
|
Boys' Home Society of Baltimore.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
 
|
Maryland, That the subscribers to the Boys' Home
|
Body politic.
|
Society of Baltimore, are a body politic and corpo-
|
 
|
rate, by the name and style of "the Boys' Home So-
|
 
|
ciety of Baltimore," and by that name and style shall
|
 
|
have perpetual succession, with the power to have a
|
 
|
common seal, and to change the same at pleasure,
|
 
|
to make contracts relative to said institution; to sue
|
 
|
and be sued, and by that name and style, shall be
|

capable of purchasing, taking, holding, and convey-
|
 
|
ing any estate, real or personal, for the use of said
|
 
|
corporation, and to establish by-laws and orders for
|
 
|
the regulation of said institution, and the preserva-
|
 
|
tion and application of the funds thereof. The special

objects and purposes of this society shall be to shelter
|
 
|
