were enacted, to wit:

ty, in regard to horses and carriages kept at livery

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

livery," as follows:

1. It shall be lawful for any livery stable

tain in his custody, any horse, mare, gelding, or mule,
placed under his care for livery, and also any vehicle,

until all charges for so keeping shall have been paid
