CHAPTER 48.

 

AN ACT to authorize Eldridge W. Gallop, William

 

F. Pannel, A. G. Marine and others to build a

 

bridge over Church Creek in Harford county.

Authorized to
enact a bridge

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the, General Assembly of
Maryland, That Eldridge W. Gallop, William F.

 

Pannel and A. C. Marine, be and they are hereby

 

authorized and empowered to build and erect a bridge

 

across Church Creek in Harford county, at their own

Ptoviso

expense, at or near Marine's wharf, terminating on

 

their own lands, provided that they the said parties

 

shall construct the said bridge of sufficient dimensions,

 

as to admit of the free and unobstructed passage of

 

scows and small boats under said bridge, that may

 

navigate the waters of Church Creek above Marine's

 

wharf, and provided further, that the cost and ex-

 

pense of building said bridge as well as keeping the

 

same in repair, shall in no event devolve upon

 

Harford county.

In force

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

 

effect from the date of its passage.

 

Approved, 3d March, 1874.

 

CHAPTER 49.

 

AN ACT to authorize the appointment of an ad-

 

ditional justice of the peace for Dorchester county.

Additional jus-

SECTION 1. Se it enacted by the General Assembly of

Maryland, That in addition to the justices of the peace

 

in the sixth election district of Dorchester county,

 

as now provided for by law, there shall be an ad-
ditional justice of the peace appointed for said district

 

in Dorchester county.
