CHAPTER 28.
|
 
|
AN ACT to confirm the bequest and devise of
|
 
|
Benjamin Parsons, late of Wicomico county,
|
 
|
deceased, to the Vestry of Spring Hill Parish for
|
 
|
certain uses and purposes therein named.
|
 
|
WHEREAS, Benjamin Parsons, late of Wicomico
|
Preamble
|
county, deceased, did by his last will and testament,
|
 
|
duly probated by the Orphan's Court of said county,
and duly recorded in the office of Register of Wills
|
 
|
of said county, devise to the Vestry of Spring Hill
|
 
|
Parish, the lot of ground near the line of Salisbury,
|
 
|
known as the "Parsons Lot," to be used by said
|
 
|
Vestry as a Cemetery and for other purposes, also
|
 
|
he did give and devise to said Vestry for the use
|
 
|
of St. Peter's Church in Salisbury, the lot of ground
|
 
|
in the rear and east of the Parsonage lot, also he
|
 
|
did bequeath to said Vestry, six hundred dollars
|
 
|
for certain uses and purposes named in his said
|
 
|
last will and testament, therefore —
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
Sanction given
to bequests of
|
Maryland, That the sanction and consent of the
|
Benj. Parsons.
|
General Assembly of Maryland, be and the same is
|
 
|
hereby given to said devises and bequests.
|
 
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
|
