CHAPTER 16.

AN ACT supplementary to an act passed by the
General Assembly of Maryland, at the January-
session eighteen hundred and sixty-eight, chapter
four hundred and fifty-five, to confer certain powers
upon a corporation therein named, to render
effectual the said powers by the correction of an
error which occurred in said act, and also to extend
the time for the payment of the capital stock of
said company, of the title as corrected by the act.

WHEREAS, at the January session of eighteen	Preamble
hundred and sixty-eight, of the General Assembly
of Maryland, an act was passed, being chapter four
hundred and fifty-five of the acts of said session, the
purpose whereof was to confer certain powers upon
the Lochiel Lumber, Mining, Manufacturing and
Improvement Company of Allegany comity, and
through some clerical error the word Lochiel was
omitted from the corporate title of said company,
and justice requires that such error be corrected.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of	Amending act
Maryland, That the said act of Assembly shall be so
amended that the word "Lochiel," shall be prefixed
to the name of the said corporation wherever the
same occurs in the said act, and that the said act
shall have the same effect as if the word had been so
originally prefixed.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the time for the	Time extended.

be extended to the first day of January, eighteen
hundred and seventy-five.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted. That this act shall take	In force.
