CHAPTER 14.

AN ACT giving the sanction of the General As-
sembly of Maryland, to a legacy of one hundred
dollars bequeathed by the last will and testament
of Susan Benson, deceased, late of Worcester
county, to the Trustees of the Methodist Episcopal
Church,at Stockton, Worcester county, Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Sanction given
to a bequest of

Maryland, That the sanction of the General Assembly

Susan Benson

of Maryland, be and the same is hereby given to the

 

bequest of one hundred dollars, in the last will and

 

testament of Susan Benson, deceased, to the Trustees

 

of the Methodist Episcopal Church at Stockton,

 

Worcester county, State of Maryland.

 

Approved, 13th February, 1874.

 

CHAPTER 15.

 

AN ACT supplementary to the act to incorporate

 

the Hannah Moore Academy of Baltimore county,

 

passed at December session, eighteen hundred and

 

thirty-seven, chapter one hundred and eighty-nine.

 

WHEREAS, By resolution of the Diocessan Conven-

tion of the Protestant Episcopal Church of the Diocese

 

of Maryland, passed on the twenty-eighth of May,

 

eighteen hundred and seventy-three, the said Han-

 

nah Moore Acadamy was accepted and received as

 

Diocessan School for girls, and whereas, the said

 

Convention deeming it expedient that present num-

 

ber of the Board of Trustees should be increased, and

 

that the appointment of such additional Trustees, as

 

well as the successors of the Board of Trustees here-

 

after to be appointed, should be made by said Dio-

 

cessan Convention did name three additional Trustees,

 

the Rev. William Pinkney, D. D., Samuel G. Wy-

 

man and William W. Corcoran and whereas, such
