tington Chapel having been incorporated for religious pur-
poses under an Act of the General Assembly of Maryland,
passed at its December session, 1846, chapter 323, entitled
an Act to authorize incorporations in certain cases.

The bill entitled an Act to apppropriate a sum of money
to pay the claims of W. E. Weber, Norris & Gruber, L, F,
Colton & Co., James E. Tate, James Iglebart & Son, Eben
F. Perkins, James Iglehart & Son, Jas. E. Tate, Henry
Brooks, John O. G. Almand, William Schultz, E. V. Her-
mange & Co., George Bowne and E, B. Prettyman.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act to provide for the assessment of
the shares of the capital stock of National Banks located in
this State, heretofore omitted to be assessed for State pur-
poses, and to collect the State taxes due on said shares.

Also,

The Fill entitled an Act to provide for the passage of loco-
motives, cars, passengers and freights over the connecting
Railroads in the the State of Maryland.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money to
pay the claims of Findlay Roberts & Co., Wm. S. Taylor &
Co., Henderson Wharf, J. K. Carroll, Klinefelter & Bro.,
Bolton & Bro., Johnson & Co., John F. Wiley, Charles
Streeper, Brown & Murphy, Wm. A. House, Lewis F. Claby,
J. E. Hudgins, Thos. S. Clark & Sons, Anderson & Bro,
and John Murphy & Co.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act passed at Jan-
uary session, 1872, chapter 237, entitled an Act to provide
for the collection of arrearages of State taxes due on the
shares of capital stock of National Banks and Banking Asso-
ciations located in this State and doing business therein.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act to refund to Isaac M. Nichols,
oae of the tax collectors of Anne Arundel county for the
year 1871, a sum of money erroneously paid by him into
the State Treasury.

The bill entitled an Act to pay George E. Haddaway, a
