The Senate bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum ot
money to pay the indebtedness of the Maryland Insane Asy-
lum, and to provide for the proper leveling and drainage oi
the grounds immediately contiguous to the buildings,

The bill entitled an Act to establish and maintain free turn-
pike highways and bridges within the proposed extended
corporate limits of Baltimore City,

Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays, with proposed amend-
ment:"

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

"Provided, That the provisions of this Act shall not apply
to any turnpike roads in Baltimore county."
