Mr. Mackey submitted the following order :

Ordered, That the Chief Clerk, Reading Clerk, Sergeant-
at-Arms and Door-keepers (and no other Officers of the
House) be directed to return on the first Wednesday of Jan-
uary, 1876, to aid in the organization of the next House of
Delegates.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Colton, Chairman on the part of the House, of a Joint
Select Committee, submitted the following

REPORT.

In conformity with the instructions of the House of Dele-
gates, your Committee, with that of the Senate, waited upon
his Excellency, the Governor, to inform him that the Gen-
eral Assembly would be ready to adjourn at 12 o'clock, mid-
night, and inquire what further communication he might
have to lay before this Body.

His Excellency informed your Committee that he had
nothing further to offer for the consideration of the General
Assembly.

Mr. Seth submitted the following order:

Ordered, That no orders be received until 11:30, P. M., ex-
cept by unanimous consent.

missioners of Charles county to subscribe to the capital stock
of the Southern Maryland Railroad Company,
