The Secretary of the Senate returned the following bills..
Severally endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays :"

The bill entitled an Act to authorize the Treasurer of the
State to pay Wm. H. Collins, of Baltimore City, a sum of
money due him for services rendered as Screwsman in To-
bacco Warehouse No. 5, and erroneously paid into the
Treasury.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 1, Article 35, of
the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Elections," and
re enact the same with amendments.

Mr. Seth, from the Committee on the Judiciary, reported
unfavorably,

A bill entitled an Act to provide for amending section 7,
of Article 13, of the Constitution.

The unfavorable report was adopted.
Also, reported without amendment,

The Senate bill entitled an Act for the relief of the estate
of James Spicer and the sureties of his bond, as tax collector
for years 1850 and 1851.

Which was read a second time.
