The bill entitled an Act to amend the Act of 1867, chapter
309, entitled an Act to incorporate the North Branch Com-
pany, by adding two sections thereto, to be numbered 8
and 9,

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Add at the end of section 2: ''Provided, however, That
the powers conferred by the original Act, to which this Act
is an amendment, in relation to booms and boomage. shall
not be exercised except upon the North Branch of the Savage
River.
