The Senate bill entitled an Act supplementary to an Act
passed March 2d, 1874, entitled an Act to provide for the
defence of Officers of Registration and Judges of Election
who are or may be indicted in the United States Court for Acts
done in performance of duties imposed by the Constitution
and Laws of this State, which are alleged to be in violation
of the Act of Congress, approved May 31st, 1870, entitled
"An Act to enforce the rights of citizens of the United States
to vote in the several States of this Union, and for other pur-
poses."

Said bill being upon a third reading,
On motion of Mr. McColgan,

The amendments reported from the Committee on the
Judiciary and adopted on the 24th of March, were stricken
out.

Said bill was then read a third time and passed by yeas
