To the House of Delegates :

I have the honor to inform you that I have approved the
following House Bills:

No. 163. A hill entitled an Act to add new sections to Article
22, of the Code of Public Local Laws, relating to Worcester
county, to be entitled "Sales of Spirituous or Fermented
Liquors."

No. 126. A hill entitled an Act to authorize the Town Com-
missioners of Berlin, in Worcester county, to erect a guard-
house in said town.

No. 135. A bill entitled an Act to incorporate Washington
Grove Camp-Meeting Association of the District of Columbia
and Maryland.

No. 146. A hill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 287, of the
laws passed at the January session, 1870, and to repeal sec-
tions 810 and 816 of Article 4, of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Baltimore City, sub-title "Police," and to re-enact
the following in lieu thereof.

No. 158. A hill entitled an Act to appropriate certain
fines to purchasing a Law Library in the place of the one
destroyed by fire for the Circuit Court for Washington
county.

No. 161. A bill entitled an Act to amend an Act entitled
an Act to incorporate the Bachman Valley Rail Road Com-
pany, passed at January session, 1870, authorizing and em-
powering the President and Directors of said Company, or a
majority of them, to issue the bonds of the said Company to
an amount not exceeding fifty thousand dollars.

No. 162. A hill entitled an Act to authorize the Sheriffs
of the several counties and City of Baltimore to collect cer-
tain fees due the late Clerk of the Circuit Court for Saint
Mary's county, in the same manner as such officers' fees have
been heretofore collected.

No. 166. A bill entitled an Act to authorize and require
the Surveyor of Washington county to survey all public
roads hereafter to be opened by the County Commissioners,
and to make a record thereof, and to make a record of the
public roads heretofore opened by the County Commissioners
or used as public roads by the public.

No. 167. A bill entitled an Act to add an additional sub-title
and section to Article 4, of the Public Local Laws of the City
