Mr. McColgan, acting Chairman of the Committee on the
Judiciary, reported anfavorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 10, of Article 38,
of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Fees of Offi-
cers," and re-enact the same with amendments, with the
recommendation that said bill be referred to the Comptroller
of the Treasury, to make such regulations of compensation
of Recording Clerks in Record Office of Baltimore City, as
may be just and reasonable.

The unfavorable report was adopted,
And the bill referred to the Comptroller.

Mr. Foster, Chairman of the Committee on Claims, to
whom had been referred,

A bill entitled an Act to pay C. F. Miller, of Baltimore
City, a sum of money for services rendered the State, and
freight paid for moving arms,

Reported the same favorably.
Which was read a first time.

Mr. Gill, from the Committee on the Judiciary, to whom
had been referred,

The bill entitled an Act to refund to Ier Dyer, one of the
firm of Pean & Dyer, and of Ier Dyer & Co., and to Thomas
I. Hall & Co., and to Townsend, French & Co., monies
erroneously paid as outage and storage on tobacco, submitted
the following Report:

That the claim for outage and storage, less the fifty cents
allowed by law, is legal, and the claim for storage paid by
the planter or his agent, before the said tobacco was sold, is
also a just and legal claim.

The Report was concurred in.

Mr. McColgan, acting Chairman of the Committee on the
Judiciary, to whom was referred,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to amend and re-enact
section 21, Article 5, of the Code of Public General Laws,
title "Appeals,"

Reported unfavorably thereon.

The unfavorable report was adopted.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to add additional sections
to Article 75, of the Code of Public General Laws, sub-title
"Practice," enabling the plaintiff in any judgment to ac-
quire a lien on the judgment debtor's property in another
