Mr. Seth submitted the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Under head of "Judiciary," line 37, after the word "at-
torneys," and before the word "thousand," strike out the
word "four" and insert the word "five."

Which was adopted.

Mr. Leonard submitted the following amendment;
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Under the title "Militia," line 40, strike out the words
"twenty-five," before the word "thousand," and insert the
word "ten."

The question recurring upon the adoption of the amend-
ment,

Mr. Seth demanded the previous question.
The question then being,

It was decided in the affirmative.
