The following Acts of Assembly were this day submitted to
his Excellency, the Governor, for his approval:
No. 201. An Act to appropriate a sum of money to pay L.
F. Colton & Company, for paper furnished, and for printing,
binding and distributing the Report of the Board of State
School Commissioners for the year 1872, as per order of the
Governor, in compliance with Act of 1872, chapter 377, sub-
chapter 12, section 11.
No. 202. An Act to repeal section 16, of chapter 476, passed
at the January session, 1870, entitled an Act to provide for
the creation and regulation of Incorporated Companies in the
State of Maryland, and to re-enact the same so as to read as
follows.
No. 203. An Act to authorize the Governor, Comptroller
and Treasurer to settle the accounts of Charles E. Maguire,
late Weigher of Live Stock, and to compromise with his sure-
ties, if in their judgment the same is advisable.
No. 204. An Act to incorporate the Calvert Bank of Balti-
more City.
No. 205. An Act to repeal the Act passed at the January
session of eighteen hundred and seventy, chapter three hun-
dred and fifteen, entitled an Act to provide for maintaining
and keeping in repair the public roads of Prince George's
counnty, and to re-enact in lieu thereof the following.
No. 206. An Act to make valid the marriage between Jo-
seph Owens and Eva Shepherd.
No. 207. An Act to pay P. T. Hambleton the sum of
forty-nine dollars.
No. 208. An Act to repeal chapter 189, of the Acts of
1872, relating to Salisbury Academy, and to re-enact the same
with amendments.
No. 209. An Act to authorize the Mayor and City Council
of Baltimore to issue bonds to the amount not exceeding the
sum of four million dollars, to provide means for introducing
the waters of the Gunpowder River.
No. 210. An Act to repeal section 81, of Article 20, of the
Code of Public Local Laws, relating to Talbot county, sub-
title "Easton," and to re-enact the same with amendments.
No. 211. An Act to repeal and re-enact with amendments,
chapter 182, of the Acts of 1853, entitled an Act to incorpo-
rate the Trustees of the Masonic Hall and Church, in Bel Air.
No. 212. An Act to authorize the Commissioners of Wicom-
ico county to levy taxes on the assessable property of said
county for the purpose cf purchasing a site on which to erect
a Court-House and Jail and furnish the same.
