Mr. Lancaster submitted the following amendments:
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

"Any person finding any estray cattle, horses, mules, sheep,
hogs, turkies or geese, and permitting the same to remain
on their premises for five days or more, or any person taking
up and impounding the same, shall, within the next ensuing
five days, put up a legible description of the same at two of
the most public places in the neigborhood, under penalty of
twenty dollars."

Add additional Article to bill, to be section 2:

SECTION 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from and after the date of its passage.

The proposed amendments were severally read and
adopted,

And the bill, as amended, read a second time and ordered
to be engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Latchford, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
without amendments,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 192, of
chapter 154, of the Acts of 1872, entitled an Act to amend
the Public Local Laws of Prince George's county, by adding
thereto additional sections, to come in after section 182, of
Article 16, of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled
"Prince George's County," imposing a tax on dogs and ap-
propriating a portion of said taxes as a reward for killing
foxes, and to the support of schools in said county, and to
re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read a second time.

Mr. McColgan, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably upon,

The bill entitled an Act to authorize the Board of Police
Commissioners for the City of Baltimore, to appoint a Clerk
to the Marshal of Police for said city.

Which was considered.

Mr. T. H. Hamilton, Chairman of a Select Committee,
reported without amendment,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 179,
of Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws, relating to
the City of Baltimore, sub-title "Sheriff," and to amend and
re-enact the same.

Which was read a second time.
