Mr. Watkins, Chairman of the Committee on Ways and
Means, presented the following

REPORT.

The Committee on Ways and Means, to whom was referred
the communication of the Hon. Levin Woolford, requesting
the House of Delegates to reconsider the appropriation bill,
in order to strike out the appropriation in his favor for re-
vising and systematizing the Revenue Laws of the State, re-
spectfully report, that they adhere to the position that the
State is indebted to him for the labor and expense of that
work.
