party or road so aggrieved shall have the right to recover
from the said Baltimore and Potomac Railroad Company, by
action in any Court of Law in this State, of competent juris-
diction, a sum of not less than five hundred nor more than
one thousand dollars per each day of such refusal or neglect."

The proposed amendment was adopted.

Mr. Merryman moved that the bill be referred to the Com-
mittee on Corporations.

The motion was rejected.
