Which was read a first time and referred to the Baltimore
City delegation.

Mr. Harig, from the Committee on Claims, (the rules be-
ing suspended,) reported without amendment,

The Senate hill entitled an Act to refund to Joel Banner
and David Ziegler, partners trading under the name and
firm of Danner & Zeigler, the sum of one hundred and
twenty dollars, money erroneously paid into the Treasury.

Which was read a second time.
Also, reported without amendment,

The Senate hill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of
money to pay the claim of Thomas C. Basshor & Co., for
work done and material furnished in the room of the Presi-
dent of the Senate.

Which was read a second time.

On motion of Mr. Gill, (the rules being suspended,)
The House proceeded to the consideration of

The bill entitled an Act regulating coal mines and the
working thereof in Allegany and Garrett counties, in the
State of Maryland.

Said bill being on a second reading,

On motion of Mr. Gill,
Was ordered to be printed.

The bill entitled an Act to regulate the commissions to be
allowed to Clerks of Courts for collecting and paying over to
the Treasury public money,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.
