1114 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS . [Mar. 27,

Mr. Gill (the rules being suspended) submitted the follow-
ing message:

BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

March 27th, 1874.
Gentlemen of the Senate:

We respectfully request your Honorable Body to return to
the House of Delegates bill entitled an Act to repeal sections
6 and 13 of an Act passed at the January session, 1872, chap-
ter 244, entitled an Act to authorize the appointment of
Weighers of Grain, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments,

Chief Clerk.
Which was adopted and sent to the Senate.

Mr. Bond (the rules being suspended) offered the follow-
ing order:

Ordered, That the Comptroller be requested to prepare, at
the earliest practicable day, a statement showing the exact
condition of the Tobacco Fund, commencing from the date of
its origination to the present time, showing the first cost of
the warehouses and amounts since expended and received
under the different Acts of Assembly regulating the same,
and that he report the same in full to the next General As-
sembly, and also publish an abstract of said statement in his
next Annual Report.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Davis (the rules being suspended) presented the peti-
tion of Eliza Garrett, aged 60 years, asking to be restored to
the pension roll.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pensions.

On motion of Mr. Seth, (the rules being suspended,)
The House proceeded to the consideration of

The Senate bill entitled an Act to enlarge and extend the
powers of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of the
City of Baltimore.

Said bill being upon a third reading,

Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows:
