to three trustees, and their successors, to be appointed by the
Virginia Annual Conference of the United Brethern Church
in Christ, and legalize the same.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee
on the Judiciary.

Also,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 16 of an
Act passed at December session, 1845, chapter 37> entitled
an Act to incorporate the Mutual Insurance Company of
Washington county, and amend and re-enact the said 16th
section, and to repeal the 10th section of the Act passed Jan-
uary session, 1870, chapter 439, entitled an Act to amend an
Act passed at December session, 1845, chapter 37, entitled
an Act to incorporate the Mutual Insurance Company of
Washington county, and the several Acts supplementary
thereto and amendatory thereof, and to amend and re-enact
the said 10th section.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Washing-
ton county delegation.

Also,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to enable the Mayor and
City Council of Baltimore to subscribe, to the amount of two
hundred and fifty thousand dollars, to the capital stock of the
Washington City and Point Lookout Rail Road Company.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Baltimore
City delegation.

Also,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to refund to Joel Danner
and David Zeigler, partners, trading under the name and
firm of Danner & Zeigler, the sum of one hundred and
twenty dollars, money erroneously paid into the Treasury.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Claims.

Also,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for making a
survey of the counties of Allegany and Garrett, for the pur-
pose of ascertaining the number of square miles each contain.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Allegany
delegation.
