Circuit Court of Baltimore City, entitled the Commonwealth
of Virginia vs. the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal Company and
others.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Davis, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,

A bill entitled an Act to authorize the Seneca Point Club,
of Cecil county, Maryland, to elect non-resident Directors.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Berry, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to license certain traders known as
Hucksters, in Washington county.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Gill, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,

A bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore to purchase and buy out the stock and
interest of the Baltimore City Passenger Railway Company,
together with such appurtenances belonging to said Railway
as the said Mayor and City Council may deem proper.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Fletchall, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to add an additional section to Ar-
ticle 56, of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Licen-
ses," sub-title "Brokers," and to repeal the 17th section, of
said Article, and to re-enact said 17th section with amend-
ments, requiring pawn-brokers to pay a State license.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Kemp, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to enable the qualified voters of
Queen Anne's county to determine by ballot whether spirit-
uous or fermented liquors shall be sold in said county or in
any of the election districts thereof, or a license granted for
the sale of the same.
