Baltimore and Drum Point Rail Road Company, and to en-
dorse the bonds of said Company.

Which was read a first time.
Also,

The bill entitled an Act to alter and amend the charter or
certificate of incorporation of the Carroll County Savings
Bank of Uniontown, a corporation organized under the pro-
visions of the General Laws of the State of Maryland, author-
izing the formation of corporations,

Endorsed, "Reported unfavorably from the Committee ou
Corporations, and report adopted."

Mr. Freaner, Chairman of the Committee on Federal Re-
lations, reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act ceding to the United States of Amer-
ica the jurisdiction over the lands iu Prince George's county,
owned by the United States, and constituting the site of Fort
Washington, and also over lands that may hereafter be con-
veyed to the United States, adjoining thereto, for military and
naval purposes, and which are herein described.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Foster, Chairman of the Committee on Claims, also re-
ported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money to
pay the claims of Daniel Caulk, Kelly, Piet & Company,
Samuel W. Brooks, Kelly, Piet & Co., John Himelhaver, and
Kelly, Piet & Company.

Which was read a first time.

Also, unfavorably,

A hill entitled an Act to refund to Jer. Dyer, one of the
firm of Penn & Dyer, and of Jer. Dyer & Co., and to Thomas
J. Hall & Co., and to Townsend, French & Co., monies er-
roneously paid as outage and storage on tobacco.

Which unfavorable report was adopted.

Mr. Nutwell, Chairman of the Committee on Corporations,
reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act regulating coal mines and the work-
ing thereof in Allegany and Garrett counties, in the State of
Maryland.
