The bill entitled an Act making appropriation for the sup-
port of the State government for the year ending the twenty-
first day of December, 1874.

Mr. Bird submitted the following amendment :
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Under title "Inspection," strike out after second "the,"
line 32, all to the word "five," in line 33, and in line 33,
strike out the word "two" and insert "one."
