Mr. Watkins, Chairman of the Committee on Ways and
Means, reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to regulate the commissions to be
allowed to Clerks of Courts for collecting and paying over to
the Treasury public money.

Which, was read a first time.

Mr. Stewart, of Baltimore City, from the Committee on
the Judiciary, reported without amendments,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 51 and
52, of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled " Prince
George's," under the head of collection, enacted at January
session, 1868, chapter 330, and sections 47 and 48 of said
Article 16, enacted at January session, 1872, chapter 294,
and re-enact the following as sections 47, 48, 51 and 52 of
said Article, of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled
"Prince George's County," under the head of collections, in
their stead.

Which was read a second time.

Mr. Berry, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact section 7, of
the Act of 1872, chapter 80, entitled an Act to amend the
Act of 1853, chapter 194, entitled an Act to incorporate the
Baltimore and Potomac Rail Road Company, and to repeal
the 2d section of the Act of 1860, chapter 71, and to extend
the time for the completion of the Baltimore and Potomac
Rail Road.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Seth, Chairman of the Committee on Temperance, re-
ported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to suppress intemperance, and to
permit the voters of Allegany county, in the State of Mary-
land, to vote on the question of granting licenses to sell In-
toxicating liquors.

Mr. Mackey, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to add additional sections to Article
8, of the Code of Public Local Laws, relating to Cecil county,
to be sub-titled "License."
