Mr. Lamar submitted the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Under the head of "Frederick County," add the name of
"Isaac Evans."

Which was adopted.

Mr, Robingon submitted the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED .

Under the head of "Anne Arundel County," add the name
of "William Gardner."

Which was adopted.

The bill, as amended, was then read a second time and
ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. McColgan, from the Committee on the Judiciary, re-
ported favorably, without amendments,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal the 5th section
of the Act of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at
January session, 1856, chapter 109, entitled an Act to
amend an Act entitled an Act to incorporate the Fremont
Savings Institution of Baltimore, by allowing said Institu-
tion the privilege embraced under the Act entitled an Act to
continue the corporate existence of the several Banking In-
stitutions therein mentioned, passed at January session,
1853, chapter 441.

Which was read a second time.
Also,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 38, Ar-
ticle 93, of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Testa-
mentary Laws," and to enact the same with amendments.

Which was read a second time.
Also, without amendments,

The bill entitled an Act to increase the facilities of the
grain market of the State, by giving effect and negotiability
to elevator receipts.

Which was read a second time.
Also, without amendments,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to continue in force the
Act to incorporate the Maryland Sunday School Union,
