On motion of Mr. Merryman,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to in-
troduce a bill to incorporate the Baltimore Trust, Safe De-
posit, Insurance, and Guarantee Company, &c., &c.
On motion of Mr. Fenton,
Leave was granted to a Select Committee heretofore ap-
pointed to introduce a bill to authorize the Weighmaster of
Live Stock in the City of Baltimore, to sell such portion of
the property now belonging to the State, and not required
for the use of the State.
Mr. Clark, Chairman of the Committee on Pensions, to
whom had been recommitted
The bill entitled an Act to grant pensions to certain sol-
diers and sailors, and the widows of soldiers and sailors of
the war of 1812, who served in the service of the United
States from the State of Maryland, and who have not hereto-
fore received a pension from the State, reported the same
with proposed amendments,
