Mr. Maclin submitted the following order:
Ordered, That the Committee on Claims pay to the em-
ployees of this House their per diem from the date of their
appointment.

Mr. Brace submitted the following order:
Ordered, That on the call of the roll at night sessions
hereafter, each county and each legislative district shall be
entitled to two bills on second reading, or one on third read-
ing.
Which was adopted.
On motion of Mr. Maclin, (the rules being suspended,)
Leave was granted to the Committee on Inspections to in-
troduce a bill entitled an Act to refund to Joseph Dyer, (one
of the firm of Penn & Dyer, and of J. Dyer & Co ,) for
the benefit of Terrie W. Burch, Thomas Carrico, R, A.
Monroe and others, and to Thomas J. Hall & Co., Towns-
end, French & Co., commission merchants, monies erro-
neously paid by them to Inspectors of Tobacco, in Baltimore
City, for outage and extra storage on tobacco.
On motion of Mr. Thompson, (the rules being suspend-
ed,)
Leave was granted to Messrs. Thompson, Kemp and Daw-
son, to report a Local Option Bill for Queen Anne's county.
