Mr. Seth, (by unanimous consent,) submitted the following
amendment :

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Section 1, line 3, after the word "establishment," insert
"or to every boat engaged in the carrying trade."

The proposed amendment was adopted, and the bill, as
amended.

by the Governor, and re-enact the same with amendments.
